Ball Bearing Baren
This ball bearing baren can be used instead of a press for relief printing. Can be used for both oil based inks and Japanese woodcut. Used by many printmakers for up to A2 prints! With more ball bearings than others on the market (our last count was 614!) this baren has smooth movement and requires little effort. Made from acrylic resin, integrally moulded with a handle on the back. Especially good for thin papers and fine detail.
Ideally, use with a piece of grease-proof paper between the baren and your printing paper to stop paper pilling and to protect the ball bearings from loose paper fibres.
